Do You Need a Direction?

Need a Direction is a four to twelve week course that helps you to find employment or get into College. It's totally based around what you need to get ahead, so the course is different for everyone who takes it. Even how long it runs for depends on you; you can do weeks 1-4 only, or go on to weeks 5 to 8 and then 9-12, depending on what works best.

For younger job-seekers

Need a Direction is perfect for younger job seekers, who can struggle in the local job market. Unlike older job-seekers, they have not had the time to gain skills and experience. Need a Direction focuses on building skills, finding experience and starting with the skills and strengths you already have to get you to the future you want.

There's also the opportunity to strengthen your maths and English skills, gain an award in vocational studies and try out lots of different things, like mechanics, carpentry, media, music, retail and more.

Their most recent course started on October 31st, but there will be stepping-on points throughout the year for young people who are not in employment or education.
