Oxcentric aims to gather all information suitable for young people in Oxfordshire into one place. This means that we are interested in:

• Linking to other local websites for young people
• Promoting activities, opportunities and services for young people
• Supporting services for young people to be included in this site

Corrections and improvements

You can make suggestions for updates on individual pages, via the commenting system, or you can contact the web editor Karin Cook or send through updates to the Opportunities Team.

We will try to make updates and changes as quickly as possible, and within one working day, where possible.

Easy Read Information

If you prefer to read less and see more pictures and videos, there is an Oxfordshire County Council site called Easy Read which is in this style.

Wherever you see the logo above on Oxcentric, you can click on it and read content on the same subject on our Easy Read website.

Adding an opportunity

Oxcentric includes an opportunities database where young people can search for jobs, apprenticeships, training opportunities and other opportunities (e.g. volunteering, personal development).

If your organisation is offering opportunities for young people aged 16-19 (or up to 25 with learning difficulties/disabilities) then we can list them on this database.

Before we add an opportunity to the database we need to do some simple checks. Please contact the Opportunities Team on 01865 328460 or by email on opportunities@oxfordshire.gov.uk to find out more.

Adding an activity or service

Oxcentric includes a group, activity and service database of organisations offering services and positive activities for young people. These can be updated easily online, simply find your service or activity and update using the links on the page.

You can also add your service or activity using this online form.
