Young People's Health Drop-in and Text Service
Support and advice around health by text and through health drop-ins in Oxford City and Banbury.
Worried about your health? You can get information and advice from a health support and advice service especially for young people.
There’s no need to book an appointment and you don’t have to be a club member or go to a particular school. You can just turn up to a drop-in or text the helpline for confidential* advice on:
- relationships
- stress
- healthy eating
- smoking
- drugs and alcohol
- contraception (you can get free condoms and pregnancy testing).

You don't have to go to health drop-in sessions to get advice, just send a text to get the same information and advice from your local school health nurse.

Confidential and safe
* Remember, whatever you talk about with your school health nurses is confidential, so your health worries stay private. Information you give to the nurse will not be passed on to anyone else unless the nurse feels that you or other people may be at risk. If this does happen the nurse will discuss this with you first.
